What We Teach: A Well-Rounded Curriculum

Our curriculum blends American educational standards with global perspectives, ensuring students are equipped for success in high school and beyond. It’s academically rigorous, yet flexible enough to meet diverse learning needs.

Core Subjects

Mathematics (aligned with CCSS):

  • Grade 6: Ratios, proportions, intro to algebra and geometry.
  • Grade 7: Pre-algebra, statistics, and geometry.
  • Grade 8: Algebra I or advanced-level math.

Science (based on NGSS):

  • Hands-on and inquiry-based learning.
  • Topics include Earth & Space Science, Life Science (genetics, ecosystems), and Physical Science (chemistry, physics).

English Language Arts (ELA):

  • Literature with American and global texts.
  • Strong emphasis on reading comprehension, analytical writing, and public speaking.

Social Studies:

  • Grade 6: Ancient civilizations and world geography.
  • Grade 7: Medieval to early modern history.
  • Grade 8: U.S. History, government, and global connections.
