Application Process at the American School of Douala (K2 to Grade 12)

Welcome to the American School of Douala!
We are excited that you are considering our school for your child’s education. Our application process is designed to be straightforward and informative, ensuring that you have all the necessary information as you embark on this journey with us.

Step-by-Step Application Process

  4. Admission decision ( after reviewing the documents provided your child may be invited to a placement test or confirmed immediately)

2. Gather required documents

Before starting the application, please ensure you have the following documents ready:

  • Proof of Date of Birth: A certified copy of the birth certificate.
  • School Records: Report cards from the previous two years for students up to grade 8, and official transcripts for high school applicants.
  • Standardized Test Results: Required for new students.
  • Completed Health Form: Including a vaccination record (form provided by the school).
  • Recent Photographs: Two (2) recent photographs of your child.
  • Home Location Map: A map indicating how to get to your home from school (to be completed once in Douala).
  • Financial Standing Record: A record of good financial standing from the previous school.
  • Proof of Guardianship: For non-biological parents/guardians.
  • Employment Letter: From the employer or agency responsible for payment to ASD.

3. Complete the Enrollment Form

Please note that at the 3rd stage of the admission process, the Enrollment Form will be shared by our Admissions Services after you have successfully completed stages 1 and 2. Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to guiding you through the next steps!Tuition Section.

4. Complete and Submit Your Application

Once you have completed the enrollment form and gathered all necessary documents, please submit them to our admissions office. You can do this by:
Email: Send scanned copies of your documents to asd@asddouala.com
In-Person: Bring your application and documents to the admissions office at the school.

5. Admissions Decision

Following the interview, you will receive an admissions decision. If your child is accepted, you will receive further instructions on enrollment and registration.

6. Enrollment and Registration

Upon acceptance, please complete the enrollment process by submitting any additional required documents and paying the enrollment fee. Detailed instructions will be provided in an invoice.
